Through the new channel the bank has the opportunity to be the active party in the search for hidden talent

UniCredit Bulbank is already looking for and hiring professionals through the Linked In social network. At the end of last year the bank created its own profile - Jobs UniCredit Bulbank, which currently has 210 connections. Among them, the HR department of the bank managed to find two young people who were appointed at internship positions.

Through one of the Linked In functionalities - Talent Finder, UniCredit Bulbank is the active party in the search for hidden talent, i.e. people who are passive in this social network.

Thanks to Talent Finder, professionals in the respective field may be tracked down by education, current position, or any other key word by which the most appropriate people for a certain position can be sorted.

“We have decided to use the social networks for recruitment because many of the good candidates are currently not looking for jobs, i.e. they are passive and with the help of the social networks we can access these passive candidates”, the head of HR at UniCredit Bulbank, Emanuele Recchia commented.

The search for professionals in the social network of Linked In is an innovative, convenient and time-saving way to find the right candidate. Besides its talent finder profile, the bank also maintains a corporate profile in Linked In, which has almost 1,100 followers.
