The international finance magazine ЕМЕА Finance ranked UniCredit Bulbank as the Best bank in Bulgaria in its annual ranking of the financial institutions Europe Banking Awards. The international magazine gave eight other prestigious awards to UniCredit.

This is the seventh consecutive year that UniCredit has received the recognition by ЕМЕА Finance. The award will be bestowed to Levon Hampartzoumian, Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank, by the publisher and editor-in-chief of EMEA Finance Christopher Moore on 13 May in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event is conducted on the eve of the Annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - 14-15 May in Tbilisi, in which UniCredit Bulbank is a traditional partner and will participate with a special press conference.

UniCredit won the following awards:

• Best bank for the whole CEE region, in Bulgaria, Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina;

• Best investment bank in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic;

• Best foreign bank in Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia.

Since the beginning of 2015, UniCredit Bulbank won the Best Bank in Bulgaria for 2015 Award by Global Finance. Furthermore, the international finance magazine recognized UniCredit as the Best Bank for Private Banking in Central and Eastern Europe in 2015. UniCredit Bulbank won the Best trade finance bank in Bulgaria by Global Finance and Euromoney.
