UniCredit Bulbank opens Sveta Nedelya Corporate Branch

UniCredit Bulbank officially opened Sveta Nedelya corporate branch in Sofia with an inauguration ceremony serviced by father Anton from Sveta Nedelya cathedral temple.

The specialized corporate branch was set up in order to improve the speed and efficiency of corporate customers’ service. Up to now the Bank has built seven such branches in Sofia, Varna, Bourgas, Veliko Tarnovo and Stara Zagora.

The band of the newly inaugurated corporate branch was cut by Levon Hampartzoumian, Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank and Andrea Casini, Chief Operative Officer.

UniCredit Bulbank is the largest bank in Bulgaria by assets and the financial institution with the greatest volume of corporate loans. Despite the crisis the Bank continued to offer flexible forms of financing to its corporate clients throughout the year 2010. Corporate loans of the Bank as of November 2010 reached BGN 5.7 billion, which is an increase with 6.1% compared to the same period of 2009 and increase of the market share up to 17.2% from all corporate loans in this country. Meanwhile corporate deposits also increased with around 10% reaching BGN 3.2 billion as of November 2010.
