Medical equipment worth 50,000 Bulgarian lev to support the treatment of premature babies will be provided to six hospitals in Bulgaria through the financial help of banks operating in the country. UniCredit Bulbank have taken part in a charity initiative for Children’s Day. The campaign was organized by the Association of Banks in Bulgaria (ABB) and Our Premature Children Foundation, with the participation of ABB members.
The medical equipment will facilitate the work of the healthcare establishments and will meet the needs of their youngest patients. A neonatal transport incubator, an infant warmer, an infant incubator, a laminar flow chamber, two syringe infusion pumps and а pulse oximeter will be purchased for the following hospitals: MBAL - Dobrich AD, MBAL Prof. Dr. S.T. Kirkovich AD in Stara Zagora, MBAL Plovdiv AD, MBAL Silistra AD, II SAGBAL Sheynovo in Sofia and MBAL Dr. Stefan Cherkezov AD in Veliko Turnovo.
The charity campaign was organized by the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and Our Premature Children Foundation, the latter being the recipient of the funds provided by the banks. The foundation will purchase and provide the medical equipment to the neonatal wards in Bulgaria, depending on their needs.
