UniCredit Bulbank provides loans for purchase of agricultural land with tenor of 15 years

The volume of loans disbursed by the bank to clients in the agricultural sector has grown by 49%.

UniCredit Bulbank provides loans for purchase of agricultural land with tenor of up to 15 years. This is one of the products that the bank will present at the ХХ International Fair “Agriculture and everything about it” this week in Dobrich.

UniCredit Bulbank finances up to 80% of the amount of the investment in agricultural land, while the longer period for repayment is in accordance with the forecasted return on the investment. Eligible collateral for this type of loan is mortgage on real estate property, machines, facilities, equipment, transport vehicles, etc.

Especially for the agricultural producers, UniCredit Bulbank provides working capital loans, which can be used to purchase livestock for fattening, chemicals, seeds, etc. The bank finances up to 80% of the purchase value of dairy animals, and the tenor is up to 60 months.

Farmers can also avail themselves of the programme for refinancing with funds from State Fund Agriculture to implement investment programmes under national investment programmes or under the Rural Development Programme.

The volume of loans disbursed by the bank to clients in the agricultural sector has grown by 49%, thus reaching 84.3 million Bulgarian leva as of 30 June. The data includes only clients in the micro and small enterprises sector. The number of farmers in that segment applying for bank financing also grew over the last year by 14%.
