UniCredit Bulbank provides consumer loans in euro for the first school day with one bonus installment at the end of the school year. In case of regular repayment of the loan for nine months, the bank will refund the ninth installment. Thus taking a loan at the beginning of the school year, parents will be able to make a graduation present to their children or possibly send them to a summer camp.

“The first day of the school year is important for almost every Bulgarian family, this is why our bank as a partner which is part of the real life of its clients, wants to support parents in preparing for the beginning of the school year with the “Initiative for the Excellent“, Ekaterina Kirilova, Head of Marketing and Segments at UniCredit Bulbank commented. She explained that “Initiative for the Excellent“ is not only focused on the financial needs related to the first school day, but will also encourage the excellent parents who repay their loans regularly by refunding to them one installment at the end of the school year.

For example if a client takes a loan of 3,500 euro repayable in equal monthly installments for a period of 5 years and a fixed annual interest rate of 10% also for the first 5 years, the annual percentage rate becomes 13.41%. For the loan to be granted there is no need for guarantors but only for salary transfer through the bank.

The loan examination fee is 10 euro and the administration fee if the loan is granted is 1% of the whole amount. The fee for maintenance and servicing of the loan is 1.5% of the whole amount as well, and is collected one-off. In this case if the loan is regularly repaid, the installment that UniCredit Bulbank will refund in the ninth month is 145 leva.

The refunding of the ninth installment is valid both for loans provided with floating interest for the whole term of the loan, and for loans with fixed interest for the first 5 years.

In order to meet the needs of its clients in connection with the bigger expenses around the first school day, UniCredit Bulbank offers overdraft loans in leva as well. Their amount may be up to 5 net salaries when the salary is transferred to an account at the bank. Clients will also receive a special bonus – a voucher for shopping for 30 leva at Office 1 Superstore.
