UniCredit Bulbank to support its suppliers by providing faster payments

News

UniCredit Bulbank will support its product and service providers by further shortening the deadline for making invoice payments. This will considerably speed up the payment cycle and ensure payments are made faster than the standard contractual terms of 15 to 60 days. The acceleration of payments will further support businesses in their working capital management.

This is one more step we are taking as a responsible corporate citizen to help dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 crisis. We work constantly to adapt our processes to the new normal, and this also applies to payments to suppliers, which we aim to fulfill as quickly as possible, despite the new working conditions. By anticipating payments, we are adding liquidity to the real economy at a time when it makes a real difference. As ever, we want to act as reliable partner to our suppliers and would encourage them to act similarly as regards their own supply chains," commented Teodora Petkova, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank.

In the state of emergency, UniCredit Bulbank is actively working to develop its digital channels so to offer a wide range of products and services available to its customers via telephone or computer. The Bank has created an organization so that its branches continue to serve customers providing safety conditions to them and to employees.

Recently, UniCredit Bulbank also announced its stabilization measures in support of the bank's borrowers, who are having difficulty paying their loan obligations due to the extraordinary pandemic measures.
