"UniCredit Bulbank supports the business relations between Bulgarian and International companies. The International Center of UniCredit Bulbank is the place where companies can meet partners and develop to an international level," pointed out Enrico Minniti, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and General Manager of UniCredit Bulbank during a business visit of Italian companies in Bulgaria.
The delegation is in our country at the invitation of Confindustria (Association of the Italian companies in Bulgaria) and the attending companies are interested in investing here, after in May UniCredit presented in Piacenza the opportunities for doing business in Bulgaria.
"UniCredit Bulbank offers to the foreign and local companies the experience and the knowledge of the economic environment in Bulgaria and we are ready to cooperate with them in order to improve the business climate of the region", stated Enrico Minniti during the forum.
The event took place in the International Center of UniCredit Bulbank and was attended by clients and partners of the bank. They met some of the best Italian manufacturers in the area of construction, design and furnishing, energy-efficient solar systems, security doors, etc.
As a partner of the business visit which was organized by Confindustria Bulgaria, UniCredit Bulbank helped with the organization of the B2B part with the member companies from the association and after that with Bulgarian companies that are interested in cooperation with Italian ones.
Pietro Luigi Ghia, President of Confindustria Bulgaria, stated that the aims of the association coincide with those of the bank - to facilitate the cooperation of local and foreign companies with the local authority, as well as to offer an opportunity for Business networking with the purpose of better business conditions. His words were confirmed by Mila Nenova, Director of Confindustria Bulgaria.
Cinzia Bruno, Director of the Sofia Office of ICE -Italian Trade Promotion Agency, also holds the opinion that Bulgaria is a suitable destination for doing business and she underlined Bulgaria's favorable geographic position which is a wonderful prerequisite for the business.
"Bulgaria and Italy have stable business relations in the field of import and export. There are sectors where we can cooperate more, such as the tourism for example", explained Cinzia Bruno.
Aldo Andreoni, Special Origination Manager in Corporate, Investment and Private Banking Division in UniCredit Bulbank, presented to potential investors a macroeconomic analysis of the country and highlighted the advantages of doing business in Bulgaria - the strategic geographic position, the low taxation, etc.
