Today, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the bank was held

UniCredit Bulbank will pay out half of its profit for the year 2013, amounting to 143.6mn* BGN, to its shareholders. This means that 71.8mn BGN will be distributed as dividend, i.e. 0.25 BGN per one share. The remaining half will be retained in the bank as non-distributed profit and will be used for financing new projects of clients of UniCredit Bulbank.

The decision on the profit distribution was adopted at today’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the bank.

During the meeting the shareholders adopted and approved also the financial results of UniCredit Bulbank for last year. The bank preserves its position as the largest bank in the Bulgarian market with assets amounting to 12.7bn BGN.

The total client portfolio of UniCredit Bulbank as at 31 December 2013 reached 9.53bn BGN, thus registering an increase by 2.4%. The deposit base records a growth by nearly 6% yoy, reaching 8.7bn BGN.

In 2014, UniCredit Bulbank celebrates a 50-year anniversary since its establishment. With confidence in the future the bank continues working FOR its clients, FOR its employees, FOR the local communities.

Since the beginning of the year UniCredit Bulbank has received a number of awards, among which Best Bank in Bulgaria and Best Trade Finance Bank in Bulgaria by Global Finance magazine, Most Innovative Bank Product for 2013 for Cash M transfer and Best HR strategy on creating leadership within the organization for 2013 by the Bulgarian Association for People Management. Recently, EMEA Finance also awarded UniCredit Bulbank as the Best Bank in Bulgaria.
