• Last year 250 students and young professionals took part in the program, 47 already work full time for the Bank
This year UniCredit Bulbank continues its consistent policy in the field of training and development of students and young professionals by kicking off Internship Program 2010.
In 2009, regardless of the reduced demand for professionals in the banking sector, 47 UCB interns continued their development by joining the Bank as employees.
“Every person has unsuspected capacities, the key to activating them is motivation. The strongest motivator is to compete with the best. As intern in the Bank I had the opportunity to learn from true professionals in this field and to gain competitive power against the other candidates thus I joined the team permanently”, said Stefan Zhilyov who was intern in Varna Regional Branch in 2008 and in 2009 was appointed a Seller in Pirin Varna Branch.
“My professional day is full of challenges, emotions and a variety of tasks, the performance of which brings me true satisfaction. The internship program prepared me and oriented me in my own interests and professional pursuits because initially the notion of "bank work" was quite abstact for me”, explains Vasil Katsarov, former Retail banking intern and currently Seller in Ivan Vazov Branch, Sofia.
In Sofia candidates for internship can choose from the following fields: Retail banking; Corporate, Investment and Private Banking; Credit Risk Management; Loan Administration and Payments; Call Center; Bank cards; IT; Bank Security; HR; Business Communications; Public Relations and Corporate Communications and Internal Audit. Candidates in other towns and cities can choose from: active sale of bank products and services; customer service in the branch network; Corporate Banking in Bourgas, Varna, Pleven, Plovdiv, Rousse and Stara Zagora.
UniCredit Bulbank’s Internship Program is suitable for graduates or last year students with majors related to the banking business who have computer literacy and are fluent in English. The Selection Team of the Bank explained that advantage will be given to candidates with good communication skills, who are proactive, well organized and good team players.
Those who are interested are required to send a CV and motivation letter to е-mail: KpctAVojDsfejuHspvq/Ch, or to the following address: Sofia 1000, 7 Sveta Nedelya Sq, Human Resources Division.
Those who successfully complete the Internship Program will receive:
• Professional training and practice;

• Joining the team of a modern European financial group.
The internship can be full time or following a more flexible schedule, for example four hours a day. The internship period is two consecutive months. The interns receive a monthly remuneration and a certificate for successful completion. The internship period can be set according to the intern’s availability and the needs of the Bank.
