A gratitude certificate was officially awarded to Ms. Teodora Bakalova-Petrova, Chief Financial Officer of UniCredit Consumer Financing

UniCredit Consumer Financing received a gratitude certificate for Corporate Donor No. 1 for 2012. The certificate was awarded to Ms. Teodora Bakalova-Petrova, Chief Financial Officer of UCFin by Plamen Stoyanov, National Director of SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria, during the visit to SOS Children's villages in late January. In the course of the campaigns UniCredit Consumer Financing managed to involve in the charity work some of its commercial partners like Technomarket, Zora, Praktiker, Labyrinth, PC Store and Rainbow Bulgaria.

"We are happy to have the long-term opportunity to help the children in SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria. It was our goal for last year to become their biggest donor. The expectations towards us for this year are high as well. I hope and believe that we are going to meet these expectations," the Head of Sales at UniCredit Consumer Financing, Mr. Borislav Genov said.

During the most successful charity campaign in September last year UniCredit Consumer Financing received the support of the commercial partners and UniCredit Foundation. For every approved loan during the initiative the company donated BGN 1, and the commercial partners doubled the amount collected by their stores. UniCredit Foundation also helped by doubling the entire amount collected during the campaign.

In 2012 UniCredit Consumer Financing participated in a charity football tournament organised by SOS Children's Villages and the Ministry of Physical Education and Sport with the motto "I am part of the team".

The commercial store chain Technomarket also participated in the Christmas charity campaign together with the company and granted BGN 10,000 to the children from SOS. During the campaign the kids in Dren also received special winter toys and games, which made the snowy days in the village even more interesting and exciting.

The consumer financing company has been supporting the activity of SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria since 2010 with different campaigns. They all operate with the motto "Together we make children's dreams come true" and UniCredit Consumer Financing aims at including its partners and customers as well.

The long-term initiative in 2013 of UniCredit Consumer Financing and Techem Services will take care of the heating in the kids' and youngsters' homes. The two companies will donate BGN 1 to SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria for every loan granted by the company for consumer financing at the Techem offices in the whole country. This is how they will contribute to the warmth and comfort of the kids in Tryavna and Dren.
