UniCredit Group starts a MBA Program for young managers

As a part of its diverse policy for education and advancement of young professionals UniCredit Group presents a Master in Business Administration program focusing on Retail banking. The program is aimed at managers who want to enlarge their knowledge and skills in the Retail area.

About the program

The Program stems from the collaboration between UniCredit’s Retail Division and Alma Graduate School in the University of Bologna, a leading Italian Business School. This partnership facilitates the emergence of a twofold perspective: an outstanding scientific insight of the contents and a strong executive imprinting.

Classes will cover a general background with reference to the actual business and the retail market. Seminars, guest speakers and labs will be scheduled stressing on the operational approach and will encompass case study analyses, business games, work projects in team and personal assignments.

The Program lasts 12 months starting in October 2008. Tuition fees amount to EUR 25 000. A number of scholarships are available, with financing up to 80% of the fee. The scholarship award will be based primarily on the evaluation of interpersonal skills of the candidate.

The ideal candidate

• A minimum of 2-5 years work experience, not exclusively in the retail banking sector (finance, large-scale retail trade, industry);

• Roles previously held: Junior Managers/Project Managers/Leadership roles in bank branches;

• International professional or academic experience (preferential criterion);

• Solid academic background;

• English proficiency – certified knowledge (valid TOEFL / Cambridge / IELTS);

How to apply

Admission to the UniCredit MBA Retail in the Banking and Finance Industry will be finalized by September 30th 2008 and will be based on the following criteria:

• Curriculum vitae;

• An optional reference letter;

• An admission interview to evaluate the candidate’s motivation, professional potential and possession of the essential skills and talents.
