UniCredit provides scholarships of up to 22 thousand euro under a new bank qualification program

The application period lasts until the end of June

Until the end of June, all graduated university students (in possession of a Bachelor’s and/or a Master's degree) are eligible to apply for the newest, 7th edition of UniCredit’s qualification program.

About the program: New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship, as the program is called, starts in autumn and it presents an exceptional opportunity for the young professionals from all countries in the region.

What distinguishes the program is that it is very practically oriented. In the course of one academic year: October 2009- April 2010, the participants in New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship will have the opportunity to attend more than 1000 classes, lectures, seminars and practical trainings. This first stage of the program will be followed by a three-month internship in some of the banks within UniCredit Group in May-July 2010 and a dissertation of a Master’s thesis in September 2010.

Lecturers from Italian and Eastern European universities, as well as eminent specialists from the banking sector will teach the participants in the program and they will reveal before them the secrets of the financial world, thus helping them to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to build a successful career.

The academic training will be held in the Italian city of Conegliano, which was chosen because of its glorious past of an entrepreneurial centre.

The applicants: The program is open for graduates in possession of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with no more than two years of professional experience in Bulgaria or in some of the countries from Central or Eastern Europe, preferably in the financial sphere.

The successful applicants also need to have a certificate for excellent command of English, as well as a strong will for development.

UniCredit helps the young: UniCredit Group will reward the shortlisted applicants, who have chosen to develop professionally in the banking sector, by financially supporting each participant with a scholarship of up to TEUR 22. With these funds the participants will be able to fully cover the fees for training, which for the whole period will amount to TEUR 25.
