The Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank Levon Hampartzoumian presented Eyes on Four Paws Foundation with a donation cheque for BGN 35,000 today. The amount will be used to cover the maintenance and training of two young guide dogs.

The funds were collected during the donation campaign of UniCredit Consumer Financing which was also supported by their business partners - Technopolis, Praktiker, Zora, Studio Moderna, Rainbow Bulgaria, PC Store, Laptop bg, as well as colleagues from UniCredit Bulbank who donated for the cause through  the donation platform of UniCredit Foundation.

Throughout November, for each newly granted loan UniCredit Consumer Financing donated to Eyes on Four Paws Foundation BGN 1 for the raising and training of guide dogs. The funds collected in their campaign amount to BGN 24,519. The business partners of UniCredit Consumer Financing doubled the amount of the donations from their stores, and in this way another BGN 8,612 were collected.  Additionally, around BGN 1,800 were collected through the Gift Matching Program of UniCredit Foundation.

The total donated amount of BGN 35,000 exceeds by BGN 15,000 the one collected the previous year, when UniCredit Consumer Financing organized a charity campaign again to support Eyes on Four Paws Foundation.

"We are extremely grateful to UniCredit Bulbank for the support that they provide to us", said Albena Aleksieva, Chair of Eyes on Four Paws Foundation. She pointed out that thanks to the funds donated by the bank, the quality of life of one young man - Pavlin Mitev, will be preserved, as he will soon receive his new trained guide dog Marvin, and the puppy Opra will begin the necessary training so that in 2 years' time she can become an invaluable assistant to her blind owner.
