The history of the participation of Bulgaria in the most prestigious football club championship will send one football fan to see the final of UEFA Champions League live in London.
UniCredit Bulbank is organizing a competition between football fans and sports journalists in its new game on the Facebook page of the bank. In the competition called “Score the winning goal” football fans will have to answer questions related to the history of the participation of Bulgaria in the most prestigious European football club championship.
The big prize for one of the participants in “Score the winning goal” is a VIP package for the final of UEFA Champions League in London (25 May 2013.). It includes two tickets for the football match with covered costs for travelling and accommodation.
UniCredit will reward the fans’ knowledge about football with numerous additional prizes such as collector referees coins, footballs, rucksacks and sports bags. The competition between the sports journalists and the fans will continue until the end of April and the winners will be announced on the Facebook page of UniCredit Bulbank.
As an official bank of UEFA Champions League, UniCredit received the status of an exclusive provider of the official match coin which the chief referee tosses for drawing of lots between the teams before the starting signal. The match coins for the preliminary rounds, group and eliminations, are covered with silver and those for the final – with gold. On the one side they have the logo of UEFA Champions League and the relevant match which is about to be played, and on the other – the logo of UniCredit. The coins are up to 3 cm in diameter and they weigh 13 grams. They have collector value and after the end of each season they will be offered in special sets to important clients, institutional partners and distinguished employees of UniCredit, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
