• The campaign is part of the overall Green Program of the Bank started back in 2008;
• The motto of the campaign is Less White Paper, More Green Leaves in Nature and all advertizing materials will be printed on recycled paper.
As part of its consistent policy for environment protection, UniCredit Bulbank begins a campaign to encourage its customers to give up the account statements on paper.
First to make the “green” step towards saving more trees was the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Bulbank - Levon Hamparstumian. Not only is he giving up his paper statements of accounts but he also personally glued the last part from the campaign’s advertising poster on the building of UniCredit Bulbank in Sveta Nedelya Square, mounting the hoisting equipment (see photograph).
Until the end of September, all customers of the Bank can declare their desire to replace paper statements with the Bulbank on-line service or with statement by e-mail.
The only thing that customers willing to show their responsibility to nature have to do, is to visit their private banker or servicing branch, to update his/her personal data and to declare refusal of paper statements under loans, credit cards, etc. Everybody can choose whether to receive information from statements by e-mail only or to request the fully free-of-charge Bulbank on-line.
In addition to the undisputable satsisfaction from the fact that they help for environmental protection, customers joining the campaign can benefit from:
• Free-of-charge internet banking via Bulbank on-line service;
• Bigger security when receiving the message;
• Reducing the time for notification;
• Receiving information about new products and changes to the interest rates of the services used.
