UniCredit Consumer Financing has donated 18 thousand lev to SOS Children’s Villages

The kids from SOS Children’s Villages were among the first ones to see the UEFA Champions League Trophy in Bulgaria.

UniCredit Consumer Financing has donated 18 thousand lev to SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria. This is the largest donation so far, made by the UniCredit company for consumer financing. The collected funds are part of the campaign “They will change your future if you change theirs”, as in the month of September UniCredit Consumer Financing allocated 1 lev per each granted loan. The campaign aims at raising donations that guarantee the access of underprivileged children to education.

“We are extremely happy with the success of the campaign and are glad to contribute to a better future for the children because we believe that they have the potential to change our future for the better”, Borislav Genov, Commercial Director of UniCredit Consumer Financing said.

The kids from SOS Children’s Villages were among the first ones to see the UEFA Champions League Trophy in Bulgaria. Besides taking photos with the trophy, the kids also saw the rich collection of football memorabilia accompanying the trophy, had lots of fun with the interactive games and competed for prizes from UEFA Champions League.

The donor’s cheque worth 18 thousand lev was handed to Plamen Stoyanov, Director of SOS Children’s Villages in Bulgaria, by Borislav Genov from UniCredit Consumer Financing.

The company for consumer financing has been supporting the activity of SOS Children’s villages Bulgaria since 2010 through various campaigns, while trying to involve also its trade partners. For three years UniCredit Consumer Financing has been one of the largest corporate donors of the company.
