The raised funds will be used for ensuring textbooks, activity books and study accessories for the new school year

On September 1st, 2012, UniCredit Consumer Financing launches its third fund-raising initiative supporting SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria. The company will be donating 1 lev for each loan provided in the period 1st – 30th September.

This year the campaign will be joined by partners of UniCredit Consumer Financing as well. Zora chain stores, Praktiker hyper-markets, Zona Home, PCStore and Rainbow Bulgaria will also give a hand to the children in need and each of these companies will donate another 1 lev for the loans provided in their retail sites.

The raised funds will be used for ensuring textbooks, activity books, and study accessories needed for the start of the new school year as well as for covering the educational expenses of the children and adolescents in the SOS children’s villages, youth homes, and the centers for family consultancy and support of the association.

„Traditionally in September families spare money to prepare for the school year and the first school day. For the children in SOS Children’s Villages, deprived from parent care, we will take care, together with our trade partners and clients. We are happy that we could involve more companies in this initiative because we believe that good things must happen not only on Christmas”, Borislav Genov, commercial manager of UniCredit Consumer Financing, said.

The campaign takes on from the initiative “Together we make children’s dreams come true”, with which since 2010 UniCredit Consumer Financing has been supporting the cause of SOS Children’s Villages for a loving home for every child. The company has supported children deprived of parent care by covering the one-month expenses for food and clothing of the families in the SOS village in Dren. Besides, in 2011 UniCredit Consumer Financing ensured for the children their dream holiday at the seaside.
