UniCredit Bulbank opened another Branch of the Future constructed according to an innovative customer service model. The branch is located in Sofia downtown in Dondukov Blvd. in a building which is declared a cultural monument.
“UniCredit Bulbank follows a consistent policy to develop and introduce innovations for the benefit of the customer. Technologies are changing our business. This is why we strive not only to follow their development but also to predict business and be faster than it. In 2014 the Bank marked its 50th anniversary and continues to work in this direction with confidence in the future”, said Levon Hampartzoumian, the CEO of UniCredit Bulbank.
Andrea Casini, COO of the Bank, stressed the importance of opening a Branch of the Future in Bulgaria. “Bulgaria was chosen on a group level for the pilot project which was used as a foundation for the development of the whole retail banking model of UniCredi in CEE countries”, explained Casini.
“The latest analysis of UniCredit shows that the role of the branch is changing. It is turning into a place intended mainly for consultations and operations with a high added value”, commented Tsvetanka Mincheva, Director of Retail Banking Division, UniCredit Bulbank. She also presented data analyzed after the opening of the first Branch of the Future.
“Since the opening of the first Branch of the Future about a year ago it has been attended by 60% more visitors. Apart from the increased number of customers 93% of them are much more satisfied with the service”, said Mincheva.
Bulgaria was chosen as a pilot country of UniCredit to launch the concept of the Branch of the Future. Only a few days ago UniCredit received the Most Innovative Bank in CEE region Award, which strengthened the positions of the Bank as a leader in the field of new technologies by the international EMEA Finance magazine.
UniCredit launched the Branch of the Future project in order to meet the needs of its customers, looking for technological solutions and comfort and at the same time classifying as indispensable the contact with consultants in the branch.
The opening of the new Branch of the Future is part of a large number of initiatives launched by UniCredit Bulbank to mark 50th anniversary since the bank establishment of which it is a successor. All customers will be able to benefit not only from new banking trends but also to visit an exhibition of rare coins and artefacts tracing the history of the Bank.
