The registration and support for the service are free

The Secure Internet Payments service can now be activated while shopping online. Customers of UniCredit Bulbank will be able to avail themselves of this opportunity from the beginning of March and the service will be offered to cardholders of Visa and MasterCard. The activation of a password while shopping online applies for card classes Platinum, Gold, Business, Standard and Classic.

When the customer is shopping online by using a card he/she will receive an invitation by UniCredit Bulbank to register the card for the Secure Internet Payments service. In order to do this it will be necessary to enter the information requested in the message. The registration is completed once the customer creates his/her own secret password for online payments.

Other ways to subscribe for the Secure Internet Payments service are:

• Registration at ATM;

• Making an application via Bulbank Online;

• Submitting an application at UniCredit Bulbank branch. Regardless of the way of making the registration, the service is free.

For security reasons the bank reserves the right to deny the authorisation of the card payment on the websites of certain online merchants if the card is not registered for the Secure Internet Payments service.

With regard to the provision of the new channel the bank has published on its website a new version of the General Terms and Conditions for bank cards and for the provision of payment services by using bank cards for individuals, General Terms and Conditions for debit cards for business clients, General Terms and Conditions for credit cards for business clients and General Terms and Conditions for the Secure Internet Payments service which enter into force 31.03.2013.
