The achievement of the annual targets and love have produced the most positive results
Three young managers took control of UniCredit Bulbank for a day within the initiative “Manager for a Day” organized every year by Junior Achievements Bulgaria. Tsvetanka Mincheva, Head of Retail Banking Department of UniCredit Bulbank met the three students from the University of National and World Economy - Petya Philipova, Hristiyana Tudzharova and Stoyan Toshev.
Petya is in her third year. She is studying International Economic Relations at the University of National and World Economy. Hristiyana is in her second year. She is studying Finance, Accounting and Control. Stoyan is a first-year student and has enrolled on the same degree course as Hristiyana.
“The support of initiatives such as “Manager for a Day” helps young people decide what path to take in their professional career and gives them an opportunity to see how real business operates. People are the only valuable resource that we have and this is why investing in education is one of our most important priorities”, said Tsvetanka Mincheva.
The three young managers for a day also met the manager of UniCredit Bulbank’s biggest branch – Sveta Nedelya Branch. Until the end of the working day they got a closer look of the specificity of the work of Corporate Banking Department, Alternative Channels Department, Markets and Brokerage, Human Resources Department, Identity and Communications Department.
Young managers spent one day also at UniCredit Bulbank branches in Montana and Sandanski where high-school students became familiar with the work of the biggest bank in Bulgaria.
The initiative “Manager for a Day” gives an opportunity to high-school students all over the country to spend a real working day with representatives of the business circles, state institutions and NGOs. Sofia’s mayor, Yodranka Fandakova, officially opened the event at which more than 250 leading companies, organizations and state institutions met more than 1000 high-school and university students. Approximately 11 thousand high-school and university students have taken part in the Manager for a Day initiative for thirteen years.
