What is dynamic password and how to turn it on?
What is dynamic password for online payment?
The dynamic password for online payment is a unique password for each payment, which the client receives via an electronic channel during the payment process online with a merchant participating in the secure payment programs VISA Secure and Mastercard ID Check.
The dynamic password ensures a high level of security of the online payments with bank cards through strong authentication of the cardholder as per the regulatory requirements of PSD2 Directive.
The service is free of charge and is available to all cardholders of debit and credit cards for individuals or legal entities issued by the bank with the logo of Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron and VPAY.
How can I activate dynamic password for my debit/credit card through Bulbank Online?
Log into Bulbank Online and select the Cards menu from the navigation bar. Select the card that you wish to activate for the service.
Click directly on the button 3D dynamic password under the image of the card. Then you have to confirm the activation of the service.
In case you do not make a payment with the card online for more than 6 months, the subscription to the service will be removed automatically. Before your next online payment, you will have to repeat the steps for activation of a dynamic password for the relevant card.
