Plus Programme
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that UniCredit’s PLUS Programme is being terminated due to termination of contractual relations between the merchants participating in the Programme Partner Network and UniCredit Bulbank AD.
UniCredit Bulbank AD will redeem any unused points from the Programme’s Points Storage Fund to their authorized users in their equivalent of BGN 0.01 = 1 point, and any points in the Programme’s Prize Fund – on the basis of a lottery among authorized users of bank cards issued by UniCredit Bulbank AD to individuals.
The redemption of points from the Points Storage Fund will commence on 20.12.2024 and the relevant sum will be transferred into the account of the respective authorized user with UniCredit Bulbank AD.
The lottery for the distribution of points from the Programme Prize Fund will be held on 03.12.2024, in the presence of a notary, and winners will be notified by email / Viber / notification in Bulbank Online. The applicable lottery rules can be found here.
*According to the Personal Income Tax Act (PITTA), a tax of 10% will be withheld upon redemption of points accumulated per customer number in the Points Storage Fund to an authorized user, and the income received must be reflected in the annual tax return under Article 50 PITTA for 2024. The account of the authorised user into which the redemption will be made will be determined in the following order: payment account in leva serving a debit card; card account in leva serving a credit card; other account in leva; payment account in euro serving a debit card; card account in euro serving a credit card; other account in a currency other than leva/euro. Any currency conversion will be made at the buy rate of UniCredit Bulbank AD applicable at the time of redemption.
What is PLUS Programme?
PLUS Programme is specifically created for the individual customers of Unicredit Bulbank who hold debit and credit bank cards (primary and additional). PLUS Programme gives you an opportunity to collect points in any purchase with the card at a POS terminal in our partner network. Each point is equivalent to BGN 0.01.
The merchant determines the number of points awarded, which is formed as a percentage on the purchase value made with your card. No registration, additional card or other actions are required to be part of the programme.
