Notification about changes regarding termination of SMS for operations in Bulbank Online – in force of 06.06.2024
Dear clients,
We would like to inform you that as part of UniCredit Bulbank 's strategy for digital transformation by providing advanced and secure digital solutions, as of 06.06.2024 the sending of passwords for login and confirmation of transfers/applications in Bulbank Online via SMS will be discontinued. As a consequence, the possibility of signing with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) as well as via a software certificate in Online Banking will be discontinued.
You can rely on a completely free solution for generating login passwords and for confirming payments/requests in Bulbank Online - M-token (part of the Bulbank Mobile banking app). M-token replaces completely the digital certificates (QES and software certificate) used until now, ensuring higher security levels.
You do not need to have an active Bulbank Mobile account to use the M-Token service. M-token is a separate section in the app and is accessed with its own PIN, independent of the Bulbank Mobile service.
