Announcement for upcoming changes in GTC for the e-banking services Bulbank Online and Bulbank Mobile – in force of 06.06.2024

Dear customers,

Please be informed that on 06.06.2024 changes in General Terms and conditions for providing the electronic banking services Bulbank Online and Bulbank Mobile will take effect.

The change is related to the way of accessing, signing and additional confirmation of payment transactions and requests via SMS code. The use of a qualified electronic signature (QES) and a software certificate as a means of signing in Bulbank Online is suspended. Access to the service and signing of payment orders and requests in online banking will be done only through the digital service M-token (mobile token – part of the mobile banking application "Bulbank Mobile").

With the provision of current notification, UniCredit Bulbank AD fulfills its obligation as a payment service provider, according to Art. 62 of the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act, to notify its customers (users of payment services) of upcoming changes in the terms of the framework contract concluded between them with a two-month notice.

With current notification, UniCredit Bulbank AD informs the payment services users that it reckons they have accepted the changes in the conditions of the Framework agreement, unless they notify the Bank that they do not accept these changes before the date of entry into force of the changes. Provided that the payment service users does not accept the changes, the Bank informs that the users have the right to terminate the Framework agreement and any other related contracts, before the date on which are proposed of entry into force of the changes, without being responsible for costs and compensation.
