Maya Aleksova joined the UniCredit team 12 years ago. Prior to that, she gained considerable experience in Retail and Corporate Banking in HVB Bank Biochim AD. Her professional development in the period 2007 – 2013 passes through different managerial positions in Corporate, Investment and Private Banking of UniCredit Bulbank AD: Director in Key clients, Head of Project Finance Department, Director of International clients. In the period 2013-2018 Maya Aleksova is Head of Management Funding, which brings together Project, structural financing and Real estate financing. After having accumulated many years of experience in the fields of Corporate lending, as well as Specialized lending, since August 2018 Mrs. Aleksova assumes the responsibility of Director of Credit risk in UniCredit Bulbank. She has a Master degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy, with additional qualifications from the Vienna Economic University/Wisterschefetsuniveritaet Wien/Vienna University of Economics and Business.
