Since 2009, Kalin Zhelev has been a manager of UniCredit Insurance Broker.

He has started his career in 1992. as an Insurance Expert at ZPAD Bulgaria (later Allianz Bulgaria), then Head of the Property Insurance Department at the Municipal Insurance Company AD (subsequently Insurance Joint Stock Company "OZK - Insurance" AD). Since 1998 for a short period he has been a Director of Financial Risks in DZI-General Insurance and then until 2008.he is the Director of FINPRO and Affinity at Marsh LTD. During his position as Director of FINPRO and Affinity, he structured and marketed specialized insurance programs for a number of banking and non-banking financial institutions - UniCredit Leasing, VIP Security, Hebros Bank, Camor Auto and others.

As a manager of UniCredit Insurance Broker, Kalin Zhelev manages, organizes, coordinates and controls the activities of the broker in the following aspects: preparation of insurance strategies and policies; organizing and controlling the interaction between UniCredit Insurance Broker and other companies in the UniCredit group; conducting negotiations with insurance companies regarding the conditions and organization of insurance.

Kalin Zhelev holds a Master's degree in Finance and Credit from the University of National and World Economy.
